Microgreens Delivered on James Island, SC

We are your neighbours, not a delivery company

This is a home-based farm business on James Island. There is no call centre, no warehouse and no van fleet. If you text 843.212.6932 about your order, you are texting the person who seeded the tray.

That has a practical upside beyond the warm feeling: we can hold something back for you, swap a variety you did not like, or drop early because we are already on Folly Road. A national subscription box cannot do any of that.

One river, not several states

The greens are grown on Johns Island. Getting them to you means crossing the Stono — over Maybank Highway and onto James Island. That is the entire supply chain.

Microgreens are cut at seven to fourteen days old. They have no skin, no rind and nothing protecting them. Days in transit are the single biggest thing standing between a good microgreen and a disappointing one, and it is the one variable we have removed.

Delivery on James Island

James Island sits at the front of the weekly route. Living trays arrive still growing, so there is nothing to rush to use up — you cut what you need and the tray keeps going for one to two weeks on the counter.

James Island questions

Do you deliver microgreens on James Island?

Yes. James Island is our home base, so it is the first stop on the route rather than the last. Living trays go out on a weekly or biweekly subscription; cut-to-order clamshells start at $6. Your delivery day is set when you sign up.

Where on James Island are you based?

We are a home-based farm business on James Island, and the growing happens across the Stono on Johns Island. There is no storefront and no pickup at the house. Orders reach you by delivery, by subscription, or in person at a market.

How far do my greens actually travel?

One river. Seeded and cut on Johns Island, driven over the Stono, and handed to you on James Island the same day. Most fresh greens in a Charleston grocery store crossed several states first, and lost a few days of texture doing it.

Where can I meet you in person near James Island?

Sundays at the Sunday Brunch Farmers Market at the Pour House on Maybank Highway — that one is right here on James Island. Saturdays we are at the Sea Island Farmers Market on Johns Island, a short drive over the Stono, plus Kiawah on Mondays, Mount Pleasant on Tuesdays and Park Circle on Thursdays.

Want to see where they are grown? That is the Johns Island page. Delivery everywhere else in Charleston is here.
